Questions and Answers from Customer Services

Q: After the initial evaluation how many days do I have to submit the CCAR form?

A: The CCAR must be received at Colorado Health Networks no more than 5 days after the initial evaluation. Timely submission of the CCAR is required to ensure proper payment of your claim.

Q: Am I required to use the IVR (Interactive Voice Response)?

A: Yes, for all outpatient services except sex offender treatment. We request that you use the IVR unless you are having problems getting your authorization for outpatient care. The IVR is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you have tried to use the IVR and experienced difficulties, call the customer service representative during business hours.

Q: What form do I fill out when all authorized sessions have been used?

A: All outpatient registrations are done via the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. This system is accessible at 1-888-556-6211. Please follow the instructions given by the system. You can obtain up to 25 sessions per episode of care at 10 sessions at a time. If you have exceed the 25 units available through the IVR, please contact a Clinical Care Manager at 1-800-804-5008 to review for continuation of treatment
