Students will learn to identify a medical emergency, and when to call for an ambulance.

Students will learn to identify breathing emergencies in adults/children, and how to provide care.

Students will learn to identify signs of heart attack and cardiac arrest in adults/children and how to provide care.

The course will provide information on identifying medical emergencies, how to perform CPR and basic first aid.

There is a written test and evaluation of students ability to perform skills taught.
