Consumer Centered Help

Colorado Health Networks has many resources for consumers and families who are working on their recovery. These resources include wellness tip sheets, consumer newsletters, and consumer education programs.

We also provide training to consumers and families who are managing or want to start peer-directed programs such as drop-in centers, family centers, self help groups and consumer-run club-houses. Our Business Development Center offers technical assistance and learning resources that can help consumers manage their non-profit organizations more effectively. Colorado Health Networks currently conducts workshops in grant-writing, community organizing, strategic planning for non-profits, developing and sustaining self help groups, board development, non-profit incorporation and volunteer management. These programs are free to consumer and family groups in the Colorado Health Networks service area.

Community Mental Health Centers

Our Community Mental Health Centers also offer a variety of programs for consumers and families. In addition to traditional mental health services, they offer prevention and education programs, self help and consumer empowerment programs. To learn what's available in your area, contact the community mental health center closest to you.
