Clinical Services

The Colorado Health Networks' provider network is designed to include a wide array of services that support therapeutic interventions at the level of intensity indicated by the strengths and needs of each unique person served.

Routine Outpatient Services

All care must be registered with the Colorado Health Networks Service Center. If authorization is not obtained after initial assessment session for non-emergency treatment, a denial or reduction of claims payment may result.

Outpatient providers are required to use the Interactive Voice Responses (IVR) to register outpatient therapy and medical management. (Call 1-888-556-6211 within five business days after your initial session.) The technology is available twenty-four hours a day. Please have ready when you call:

  • A DSM-IV Diagnosis code
  • Your provider number
  • Client's Medicaid number
  • Client's date of birth
  • Number of sessions you are requesting (up to 10)

Treatment progress reports must be submitted via fax or mail for additional sessions.
